Weathertop, also known as Amon Sûl, is one of the memorable locations from The Lord of the Rings. An ancient ruined watchtower standing on a hilltop, it appears in The Fellowship of the Ring during a key moment of Frodo’s journey. This official polystone collectible environment by Wētā Workshop depicts Weathertop in a limited edition of 1000 pieces, standing approximately 19 cm tall.

In The Lord of the Rings, Weathertop becomes a place of tension when Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin take refuge there while fleeing toward Rivendell. It is where the Ringwraiths find them, in a night scene where fear, fire, and Aragorn’s intervention leave a lasting mark on Frodo’s fate. Amon Sûl also carries the weight of an older past, tied to the kingdoms of Men and the remnants of Middle-earth’s history. This diorama captures that importance by turning the hill into a true fragment of the story, filled with ruins, threat, and memory from the film scene.

The environment shows the rocky crown of Weathertop, with the circular ruins of the ancient tower rising at the summit. The terrain combines stones, dry grass, worn paths, bare trees, and sculpted rock faces, using a palette of gray, brown, and muted green tones. A side cave reveals a fire-like glow through integrated LED lighting, recalling the Hobbits’ camp and the approach of the Nazgûl. The whole piece rests on a discreet black base, with a wide and low composition that highlights the twilight atmosphere of the location.
