PREORDER - The Lord of the Rings - Environnement Miniature Rivendell figure

In The Lord of the Rings, Rivendell is the Elven refuge ruled by Elrond, hidden within the valley of Imladris among the mountains. Weta Workshop recreates this iconic location as an approximately 28 cm Polystone miniature environment, developed using original plans, on-set references and imagery from the films.

Rivendell notably welcomes Frodo after his journey to Elrond’s home and becomes the setting for the Council that leads to the formation of the Fellowship of the Ring. This recreation aims to capture the architectural richness of the Elven city with its soaring buildings, bridges and numerous structures integrated directly into the mountainous landscape. The environment was digitally sculpted by Kathyrn Parr, Bawal Saggi and Simon Lissaman, with additional physical sculpting by Leonard Ellis.

The environment depicts Rivendell surrounded by dense vegetation, with numerous trees in green, yellow and orange tones spread across the cliffs. Finely detailed Elven buildings occupy different levels of the landscape and are connected by paths and bridges, while several translucent waterfalls flow down the rocky slopes. The entire scene rests on a broad black display base that emphasizes its panoramic composition.
