The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf the Grey figure, (Classic Series)

Gandalf the Grey, one of the central characters from J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, appears in this statue from Weta Workshop's Classic Series. Inspired by his appearance in Peter Jackson's film trilogy, this 1/6 scale resin statue stands approximately 36 cm tall. Fully hand-painted, it recreates the features of the wizard portrayed by Ian McKellen, including his long gray beard, pointed hat and layered traveling clothes.

In The Lord of the Rings, Gandalf belongs to the order of the Istari, beings sent to Middle-earth to help its peoples resist the influence of Sauron. An adviser to Hobbits, Men and the other Free Peoples, he plays a crucial role in the formation of the Fellowship of the Ring and accompanies Frodo Baggins during the early stages of his journey toward Mordor. Beneath his appearance as an elderly traveler lies a wizard of great wisdom, capable of displaying both patience and formidable authority. This Classic Series statue depicts him as Gandalf the Grey, before his transformation into Gandalf the White, carrying his staff and traveling equipment.

The statue depicts Gandalf standing on rocky ground, holding his tall wooden staff in one hand while the other is slightly closed in front of him. His weathered facial features are framed by long gray hair and a thick beard extending down his chest. He wears a wide-brimmed gray pointed hat, a long robe with sculpted folds and several layers of clothing secured by a rope belt. A satchel hangs at his side, while his dark cloak spreads out behind him as though caught by the wind. The rocky scenery rests on a circular black display base.
