Laura Kinney is an experiment born out of a human mother and Logan's DNA. The goal was to create a weapon, but things didn't go as planned for the scientists. X-23 therefore has the same abilities as Wolverine with adamantium claws. Her outfit is very similar to Wolverine's and it looks really good on her.
